Behind British-Australian jazz vocalist Hetty Kate’s elegant demeanor is a modern-day beatnik with an edge. Alongside her ’natural musicality,‘ effortless clarion tone, and impeccable timing, you’ll find it’s her razor-sharp wit that truly sets her apart, artfully blending poise and humor with a great love for the music.

Born in England, raised in Australia, and now based in Paris, Hetty has been touring internationally for almost two decades, gracing stages from New Zealand to New York. She has toured and recorded with Australian jazz luminary James Morrison, performed with Rick Margitza and Peter Bernstein, as well as classical pianists Simon Tedeschi (AU) and Charl de Plessis (SA). Hetty has sung with symphonies, appeared live on television, acted on stage and screen, and released ten albums.

Libor Šmoldas from Prague is widely considered to be one of Europe’s leading jazz guitarists. Critics have praised his smooth, effortless, and melodic approach, as well as his apparent love of jazz and his audience. He has worked, toured, and recorded with James Morrison, Bobby Watson, Jon Faddis, George Mraz, Jeff Ballard, Adam Nussbaum, and Gregory Hutchinson, and performed at clubs and festivals across the world.
