MOMO. is a Brazilian-born, London-based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter known for blending Brazilian musical traditions with contemporary influences. His music draws inspiration from 1970s Tropicália, artists like Os Mutantes and Milton Nascimento, and incorporates elements from his experiences in Angola, the United States, Spain, and Portugal.
MOMO.'s seventh album, Gira, was released in October 2024 on Batov Records. The album features collaborations with musicians from London's jazz community and fellow Brazilian artists, recorded at East London's Total Refreshment Center. The opening track, "Pára" featuring Jessica Lauren, exemplifies the album's vibrant and collaborative spirit.
