Labasheeda is an idiosyncratic rock trio from Amsterdam. The band is known for its dynamic and intense shows. Labasheeda’s music has a penchant for concise, stripped down melodies, and quick switches from spacious bass lines and drums to heavy, rousing or sometimes epic guitar driven songs. The unorthodox use of violin, the often deviating time signatures and Saskia van der Giessen’s distinctive voice give the band its unique sound.

In November 2023 Labasheeda released its sixth full-length album Blueprints, which has been described as an innovative post-punk masterpiece by the international press.

Kitty Solaris, die "heimliche Indiequeen Berlins", hat im Juli ihr neuntes Album “James Bond” (Solaris Empire) veröffentlicht, das mit Lob nur so überschüttet wurde: „Sean Connery oder Roger Moore? Pierce Brosnan sollte man in der Reihe der besten James Bond-Darsteller nicht vergessen. Und so einen smarten Helden hätte man in diesen Zeiten doch ganz gerne an seiner Seite. Hier vereinen sich warmer Elektro-Pop und Indie-Songwriter-Gefühle, die auch mal zur Kraut-Rock-Gitarre greifen.“ (Laut.de) "James Bond" war "Album der Woche" bei u.a. Byte FM und Deutschlandfunk Kultur und hatte mit dem tollen dreampoppigen Titeltrack einen kleinen Radiohit.
Am 30.5.2025 erscheint die neue Single "Modern Mantra" als Vorbote vom gleichnahmigen exklusiven Vinyl Album via Ghost Palace Artist Society.
